Why “Vintage Feels”?

I’ve always had a love of fashion from a bygone era. The 1950s silhouette, or the “New Look” (thank you Dior) has always been my favourite style of fashion. I have been wearing 40s/50s style clothing since I was 16, and have now given it my own swing incorporating rockabilly and my love of bright colours!

What do you do?

My day job is in the legal field, but I’d rather not bore you with the finite details of contract law.

I taught myself how to sew and now I spend entirely too much time sewing behind (swearing at) an array of vintage sewing machines. I can also be found galivanting around the British countryside in classic minis.

and the Automobiles?

Now, we have covered the Vintage Feels, where are the Automobiles?
Val the van is a 1969 Morris mini van and Fred the mini is a 1989 mini racing flame.
Both minis, at the hands of Amelia, are often seen whizzing around local roads, race circuits and stretching their wheels for children’s charities.

Who is Minnie Cooper?

Back in the dreary months of the latter part of 2023, still buzzing from being spotted for Best Dressed at Goodwood Revival, I decided to enter the Queen of the Car Show competition at Viva Vegas.

The only thing standing in my way: needing a Stage Name.

Oh no.

Now, those that know me are fully aware that I love a good spot of British humor and puns, so Minnie Cooper was born!
